Rodney Johnson, better known by his stage name Tweedy Bird Loc was the Compton, California based rapper emerging in the early 90's.
Tweedy, perhaps best known for initiating and organizing the hip-hop project "Broods & Crips" with producer Ronnie Phillips - a collaboration between Bloods and Crips gang members.

With only two full length albums released, Tweedy made his debut in 1992 on Par Records with "187 Ride By", nothing short of a hardcore rap album spotting disses to both KRS-One and Tim Dog, as well as carefully aimed shots at fellow Compton luminaries Miche'le and N.W.A. The album, sought-after among westcoast rap historicans, also feature early production and turntable work from Long Beach native Battlecat (Spice 1, Snoop Dogg, Game, Xzibit). "No Holds Barred" followed in 1994, but didn't live up to the attitude and rawness of the debut.
